A Pittsburgh native, Emma was the ACDC Executive Director from 2013-2014.  She then moved on to law school at the University of Michigan, served as the PaDems Deputy Voter Protection Director in 2018, practiced law in Washington, D.C., clerked for two federal judges, and returned to Pittsburgh.  She is currently an associate at Dentons Cohen & Grigsby in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, where she has participated in litigation over congressional redistricting, state redistricting, the constitutionality of Act 77, and more.
