The Allegheny County Democratic Committee Sets Date for State House Special Election Nomination Vote
The Allegheny County Democratic Committee has set the date for candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for the special election to fill the seat of Rep. Sara Innamorato (HD21).
The nomination election is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Tripoli Street Community Center (816 Tripoli St. Pittsburgh, PA 15212).
Members of the Allegheny County Democratic Committee who reside in State House District 21 are eligible to vote. The winner of this vote will be recommended for nomination to the Pennsylvania Democratic Party Executive Committee.
Candidates who wish to seek the Democratic nomination must submit a letter of intent, headshot, biography, and $500.00 filing fee by way of a check made payable to the Allegheny County Democratic Committee by Monday, July 24th, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
